Main Focus
My reasearch is focused on multimodal cues as take-over requests (TOR) in highly automated driving scenarios. I am interested in ansewring the following questions:
- How the design and the modality of the TORs can reduce performance costs at takeover?
- What kind of information can be conveyed via TORs to assist decision making or maneuevering?
- How can we adapt TORs to the drivers's state to improve performance?
To answer these questions, I design and run experiments in driving simulation environments in which I test low-fi and working prototypes of multi-modal TORs.
