Alumni of the Research Group Body and Space perception
Main Focus
My dissertation is part of an interdisciplinary project that studies body representations by integrating expert perspectives from neuroscience, medicine, computer science, and philosophy. I use virtual reality technologies and biometric-based 3D body models to study mechanisms related to body representations, specifically the influence of visual cues on body perception and the perception of realistic virtual avatars. My projects are at the interface between computer science and cognitive psychology.
