Analysis and modeling of sleep and circadian rhythms

Dr. Elizabeth Klerman is a Professor of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston MA, USA. Her research expertise lies in applying circadian and sleep research principles to both normal and pathophysiologic states, as well as in mathematical analysis and modeling of human circadian rhythms and sleep. In this seminar, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the distinctions between analyses and modeling of data, explore examples of issues involved in analyzing sleep and circadian data, understand the steps involved in modeling these data, and discover the various ways in which modeling can be utilized.
