Functional and structural organization of human thalamus: Thalamus segregates each sensory signal for a specific computation to the cortical areas. Ultra-high-field is a unique opportunity to look in the thalamus, which consists of several small sub-nuclei. Here we investigate functional responses of the thalamus, and its communication with cortex.
Vita
I studied bachelor in life-sciences, Masters in bioinformatics. I finished Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the International Max Planck Research School, Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Tuebingen, Germany.
