Prof. Dr. Kuno Kirschfeld
Forschungsinteressen
Kuno Kirschfeld war Direktor der Abteilung Vergleichende Neurobiologie am Max-Planck-Institut für biologische Kybernetik von 1968 bis zu seiner Emeritierung 2002. Seine Arbeitsgebiete beinhalteten die Primärprozesse und Phototransduktion in den Photorezeptoren von Insekten und die Ionenregulation im Nervensystem. Zudem verglich er die Verarbeitung visueller Informationen bei Insekten und Wirbeltieren und den Einfluss von Allgemeinanästhetika auf das Nervensystem.
